Woodland Park Zoo

This feels like more of a park with animals than a zoo. That's not a bad thing. Most zoos I've been too are just pen after pen of sleepy animals with nothing in between. Woodland Park Zoo has way more open space and trees and landscaping with large pens in between. I went on the weekend that they introduced some new red panda cubs! YES!

So many exhibits are closed but prices are the same.

Quality enclosures, animals with plenty of enrichment.

Love love love the zoo. It's easy to go too... Especially with kids while being socially distant. Go at 930 before the crowds and you'll be walking the trails alone. The animals are all out eating breakfast too so you get to see everyone fresh vs in the afternoon when they're sleeping.
