I’ve gone to this place for over a year because they are in my neighborhood, and I am consistently frustrated and disappointed. I’ve given them many second chances, and each time regret it. No more. First, they crush the buttons on my oxford shirts, which then crumble while I’m wearing them. It’s a weird problem and one that I haven’t encountered before. But I leave a trail of button shards wherever I go. They agreed to resow buttons on my shirts, but they sowed weird buttons that don’t match the others. Second, they always try to charge me more to clean my wife’s Oxford shirts because they are “smaller”. Less shirt = more money? No thanks. It’s infuriating.nnI’d recommend going somewhere else.
Had a dress and sweater cleaned. Cost me 28 dollars. Very nicely done and she fixed the hem on the dress.
I have taken my shirts here and have been happy until the last visit. I took in 6 shirts and the bill was $24.84. Why? I was told that 2 of the shirts were dry cleaned at $6.50 each. I was not informed of that when I left them. I will not return.
This place is fantastic. Amazing service - friendly, dependable, fast. Don't trust the bad reviews - they are from the previous owner! This is the same family that owns Jay's cleaners on Roosevelt. Best dry cleaning in the city!
