Ding Ho Laundry & Cleaners

Different prices everytime despite the same work. My wife pays more than I do when she picks up my shirts. Nice family but dishonest pricing.

My wife and I recently moved to Montlake and were in search of a good dry cleaner. I'd say we do a fair amount of dry cleaning (~$150 every 2 months). I'm not sure how we came across Ding-Ho, but we dropped off a large load of clothes including shirts to be laundered and dry-clean only blouses, dresses, etc. I returned a few days later, paid the $123 bill and took everything home. I then found 3 of my dress shirts ruined (1 shirt had a 3 inch long brownish stain on the outer collar. Almost like a burn mark. 1 shirt had a spattering of the same brownish color on the front, and the last shirt had tears in the collar and on the front of the shirt. I am very meticulous with my laundry and spray any stains with stain remover before taking them to be laundered. All three of these shirts did not have the stains or the damage described before I dropped them off. Honestly, things happen and I understand that. The reason I am posting a 1-star rating is because of how my wife was treated when she went in to show them the damage. She was completely dismissed and told that the stains and tears were there before. They did not seem to care about fixing the mistakes and didn't even offer to try cleaning them again (which was all we were hoping for). We'll be going somewhere else and will let anyone that is looking for a dry cleaner know that this is definitely a business to avoid.

Lady was very rude to me and my driver whom had to park to make a pick up at the building next to the cleaners as that was zero road side parking

I wish I saw the review before I went to this place. I have dropped off about $50 cleaning a month for 6 months before one of my white shirts came back with giant yellow stains on it. It did not have these stains when I dropped it off and when I pointed this out, the owners were dismissive and told me it must have been me. They even told me conflicting stories, one saying that the stain was red when I dropped it off and the other saying that it was yellow. This is a $350 shirt and I am very meticulous with it. I've always pointed out all stains when dropping off my clothes so they can spot treat. I never would have missed a stain this large (it takes up 1/3 of the shirt) and I don't see how their idea of a solution is to blame me for it. They clearly have a very poor idea of customer service and are not careful with their clothes. Use at your own risk.

Great place. Dropped 3 suits on Wednesday and was rdy to pick up on sat afternoon. Note: The shop is next to the cell towers. Don't set your car alarm when next to the cell towers. They interfer with the car's alarm. My car doors wouldn't unlock due to cell tower interference. Took 1hr to fix issue. The Ding Ho owners were helpful to fix, they said this issue occurs often. Especially to BMWs and Toyotas.
