Superb Cleaners

I had the worst experience of my life at this Dry Cleaners just about an hour ago. I wanted to check my clothes before taking them out. The guy at the front desk was hesitant to have me check them.. I noticed couple stains on my blouse that were not there before.. I tried talking to him about why those stains were there & he pretended to not know how to communicate in English & kept showing me the receipt that had listed a stain on the top. So I explained that was a small orange dot that now seems to be gone but instead there are 2 newer, and bigger stains. I asked him what he expected me to do? And why I should pay for the dry cleaning of a top that they put stains on. So he said I could come back a week later & talk to some woman. My clothes were worth over $1200 so I felt extremely uncomfortable leaving them there for another week & I told him that he just needs to explain to me how those 2 bigger stains were on my top.. He kept arguing and I said to him this was awful customer service and I couldn’t believe that I was in the US because for the most part we have great customer service.. He told me you are Indian right & he said Indians are very fussy.nnAnyhow I told him I just want to pay for my clothes & leave as I was never ever going to come back here again. He refused to let me take my clothes and I told him that I will call the cops if he refuses to let me take my clothes.. Ultimately he did let me take my clothes but I was horrified with this entire experience.. Stay away from this Dry Cleaner.. And we don’t need such dry cleaners in our hood.

There are some negative reviews on here, but I have not had any negative experiences after using them for the last couple of months. It seems like one of those situations where only upset people are posting.nnAlso the reviewers have a really low number of reviews. I give one off reviewers less credence.

Me and my husband, after many bad experiences at Alterations Plus, decided to try Superb Cleaners. He is so friendly and its so obvious how neat and organized he is--as you can see when you walk into his shop it is so clean and he really respects the clothing and his customers. We have brought our leather and rugs and dresses and all the things he did so well! Because of his honest kindness and him remembering our names and chatting with us all the time -- I wonder why there are reviews about racism here. This is not an experience that I have had at all with this man. HIGHLY recommend!!

FYI! New ownership since all of the previous reviews! This place is now wonderful! Prices are appropriate, alterations are done very well and reasonably priced, and honestly, the couple that work there may be the happiest people I've ever met. They don't speak English perfectly, but they do understand it perfectly. Give this place a second chance!

Avoid this place at all cost. This business is a rip-off. Not only the job done (alteration and cleaning) is substandard, but the price you have to pay is not the one that was agreed on. And on top of that, they ask you to pay cash so they don't have to pay taxes.Not very honest for a Korean-owned business.
