Still the historical research of locating the original site of the cabin by where the hand dug well still remains and where the Osage Tribal Village artifacts were found made the stop worth the time and admission price.nThe addition of tame donkeys and other historical buildings takes away from the authenticity of the site, but adds a plethora of other history lessons and items to see.

Very neat place! Happened to not be open when we stopped but there is a drop box to pay your admission and signs are all very informative. Nice historic pit stop and a good place to stretch your legs!! Plus there are donkeys which is always a 5 stars for me

Apparently, in the middle of the winter ( December 30, 3pm) everything is locked up including the restrooms with no warning on-line, on the highway or otherwise.nStill the historical research of locating the original site of the cabin by where the hand dug well still remains and where the Osage Tribal Village artifacts were found made the stop worth the time and admission price.nThe addition of tame donkeys and other historical buildings takes away from the authenticity of the site, but adds a plethora of other history lessons and items to see.nWe will return in the summer to see the insides of the buildings.
