Captain Dan’s Crabhouse

I really enjoy crabs from this place. I have brought out of town family here to eat crabs and they have enjoyed it as much as I do. They also have really good food too. Since covid I now do carry out which is just as good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This place is family friendly. I definitely recommend this place.

The crabs are very tasty, I always get the large, food is good as well. The Cream of Crab is HORRIBLE!!!! I have had Cream of Crab from a couple of restaurants and this is worst that I have ever had. I suggest they change the recipe or go and taste the Cream of Crab from Seaside Restaurant, or Ships Cafe. Then revamp there's. IJS

Just had a delicious takeout meal. I had the stuffed flounder and it was excellent. They had a nice carry out operation going; clean pens, organized, etc. Friendly staff members also. Highly recommend!

Moved to Finksburg about 2 years ago and have been searching for exceptional steamed crabs... I think I've finally found a go to place with Captain Dan's. We ordered a dozen jumbo crabs today and they were perfectly delicious. I wish I had ordered a few more as the kids were all over them.nnI will definitely be coming back for more!

Call to reserve your size. As an outoftowner I was able to swing in around 2 in the afternoon. The scene was busy, people with bags of pre ordered crabs. The sizes were running medium at best. Then a supplier came in and the world was right again. The largest were a fair price and all consistent quality. The seasoning was good, not over steamed. Based on the 4.4 rating out of hundreds of people cross referenced with my slightly lucky timing. I think this is the best place around
