Westgate Elementary School

In my experience I got bullied and the staff did not help. And me being the victim the counselor told me basically it was my fault. And another incident happened and he blamed me once again. This school needs help.

Excellent School. Professional staff, caring teachers and great student population with engaged parents.

Overall I had a pretty good experience here, but some of the teachers and staff have a LOT to be desired. Firstly, the recess staff would get triggered at you for pretty much anything, for instance running in the woodchips. We're young; we won't be stopped so easily. Not to mention, I had easily the WORST experience in the fourth grade. One teacher (who was fired a few years back) was very rude to at least one student, as she shamed him for merely forgetting his homework one day. To be completely and utterly honest, elementary school was a freakin' concentration camp!nBesides this, however, I think that overall, any kid who goes here should be able to enjoy their experience, but not without a few ups and downs.

Good elementary school to send your kids to if you live in Edmonds area. Friendly teachers, good community.
