Shoreline Police Department

Had to call the non-emergency line and my request was responded quickly too. Within half an hour, an officer called me and was super informative and listened closely to what I had to say. I felt way better after the call, thank you!

For other services not being on fire or bleeding . If you call be prepared for abrasiveness. There's no sense of community there's no sense of concern. Both times years apart I have experience the same demeanor. The the persons I made contact with we're short with conversation insisted on knowing all of circumstance and would not budge otherwise.

Had to call the police because of the neighbor and him parking his vehicles all the way up to mine just about touching. So, I explained to the officer that it's a shared culdesac and we own a portion of it and are allowed to park. After the officer spoke with the neighbor, he comes back to me and requests that I move my vehicle back to allow the neighbor to park on my property. WOW. No respect for boundaries from the law. Apparently calling the police did absolutely nothing because the police are just as dumb as my neighbors. Guess this will end up in court as a property dispute.

Been a great help a few times. Update they have help me out last couple nights Mar2017 and both officers have been super friendly and professional at the same time. Thank for beeing a great help to the community.

We arrived with a girl in trouble, she had recently been drugged and unfortunately lost her Oxford housing. We had contacted the Crisis Solution Center and they advised that we speak to the police department and have them request the mobile crisis team come by. We requested this from the gal at the front desk and she refused. As we sat in the small lobby using the non emergency phone line I witnessed her shake her head and roll her eyes. I’m not assuming she should have known what to do in this situation but did expect she would treat us with respect and compassion.
