Its about to be store open and I had a police officer approach my van...nnApparently waiting in a parking lot is suspicious...for the store to open...nnThe officer said they had reports of high theft in the parking lot...nnI am leaving. I am going to go to a more safer location...its not safe if they have the police checking vehicles in their parking lot..and I'm not sure why if any the police would be called on me...nnIt could not be because I'm driving a later model van...profiling my vehicle as being a risk because its older...nnNot even sure why cops or running security job positions. Especially since lowes can easily afford private security...nnIt's nice that the cops of this town are making sure that the parking lots are monitored right before the doors open in the parking lot..nnYou know what. I've purchased so much building supplies and materials at lowes. But I think my money needs to go to a company that will respect me...nnThey alerted the police to my van because it's a older model van...period.nnWell lowes I hope you join the other companies that have shut down to bad customer services and disregarding certain customers due to income tax bracket...nnIt has to be dangerous if the police are monitoring a parking lot right before store hours... its literally 6:00 am...

Update: I never heard back from the delivery team at Lowes and ended up having to cancel the order. I ended up ordering the exact same dishwasher at a major competitor, and had it delivered and installed 3 days later. Shame on you Lowes.nnDropping this to two stars for a poor experience with a dishwasher purchase and delivery.nnI shopped in store for a good deal on a nice (highly rated, but not expensive) dishwasher. I spoke to the sales person and decided to make the purchase. I went home to place the order online, and after I paid, I received an email giving a delivery date of 9/3 between 8AM and 8PM. Wow, a 12 hour delivery window? That seems unreasonable to me, but ok, lets work with it. I arrange with my boss to take the day off, and prepare the front entry and kitchen for the delivery (making room for them to move the new dishwasher in without damaging it or the house).nnOn delivery day, I wait patiently until mid-afternoon, and I have heard nothing. On a whim, I check my email, only to find they sent me an email with a new delivery date of 9/28(!!). This is a full 8 weeks after I ordered the item, and more importantly, a week after the house it's going into is scheduled to be listed for sale.nnSo I call the store, hoping to speak to someone about getting an earlier date. They transfer me to the delivery department, and no one answers. The phone just rings and rings - no voicemail... finally, the call forwards to someone (an operator) who tells me I have to speak with someone in the delivery department. I explain that this call was TO the delivery department, and it was forwarded to you. This was four hours ago. I've still heard nothing back.nn12 hour delivery windows with no pre-coordination (just an email)nWaiting until the day of the delivery to tell me they can't deliver (presumably because they don't have the product).nNot answer the phone or returning calls.nnAs much as I hate to do it, I guess I'll be cancelling this order and buying my new dishwasher elsewhere.

There store would never pick your call. If you order something for delivery you are never getting it..their delivery staff is pathetic. They keep changing delivery date at the end moment.nThe entire Lowes Lynwood will keep you transferring to random extensions, but no one picks the phone ever!!nLast but certainly not the least.. DSI the 3rd party who eventually is supposed to deliver the stuff.. they just vanish and eventually decide there own delivery date. So then you are stuck...and you can keep calling between Lynwood Lowes...there delivery office. N DSI.. BUT NO ONE WILL EVEN PICK THE PHONE or resolve the issue anyhow. Vicious circle!nNever had these issues with Home Depot ever
