In all honesty, the work load is overwhelming at times, and the job can be very stressful mainly due to the need for additional Deputies. You will definitely earn your pay with this agency.nnThere is a lot of bad press about this agency because that's what our society feeds on. The Deputies work hard everyday and can only do so much. It's difficult to squeeze 15 plus hours worth of work into a 12 hour shift.nnThere are numerous moving parts at the Adult Detention Center, all of which, have to move in unison to accomplish time sensitive objectives. This requires Deputies to step up and not wait around to be asked or told to do something. We make it happen!nnIs it all good and perfect? HELL NO, nothing is, that's life. People attack us for doing a job that they themselves would not last a day in. It's so easy to criticize from the outside looking in. Cobb County Sheriff's Office has it's issues just like every other agency. It's okay to criticize but do one better, offer a solution to go along with your criticism. That would be beneficial and I believe the Command Staff at that Detention Center would definitely lend an attentive ear.nnTo my Brothers and Sisters at the Cobb County Sheriff's Office be safe, God bless, keep doing what you do well, and improve what you can!

Wait time for them to release someone that has been bonded out is awful. It is going on our 3rd hour and still no sign of our friend. Please get help or something bc this process (from the time the bond co tells you the bond has been signed to the actual release) shouldn’t take more than about 30 minutes or so.

I called to complain on my daughter’s behalf. The msn that answered the call didn’t like what I said. Rather than hearing my concerns, he hung up on me. I would very much like to talk to Colonel Sanders. I realize my daughter screwed up in her life and she keeps doing it over and over again. But she sure doesn’t deserve to be treated like an animal. Having to wear dirty laundry and dirty underwear is unacceptable getting back worn out underwear is unacceptable.
