Once saw 6 total police officers arrest a man for jaywalking at the transit depo. These cops are exceptionally bored so be careful out there
A car was blocking my driveway, so I couldn't get out. I called the Redmond police department non-emergency number. I expected this to possibly take a long time. I figured they would come give the car a ticket, and then I could call a tow company to move it.nBut they had a better solution (which seemed obvious in hindsight, but I don't think other police departments do this). They called the car's owner. Within 3 minutes the owner came jogging out of a nearby house, apologized and moved the car. Right away the police called me back to check that the situation was resolved to my satisfaction. Best response ever. My problem was resolved quickly. The absent-minded parking offender got a good warning.nI used to live elsewhere, and resolving exactly this same problem situation there could easily be a 2hour+ process. Thank you Redmond Police!
It's a good and nice people, willing to help. Surely, police can't be anywhere and help anyone, and they're doing their best to serve and protect and I'm glad to be part of Redmond community. Fortunately, in my case they were helpful.
