Dr Patel saved my vision. I cannot thank him enough! The first week of January I suffered a pretty horrific eye injury playing Dek Hockey. I was struck directly in my left eye by a hard plastic ball traveling at 30-40mph. I was immediately blind in my left eye as it filled with blood. I went to the ER at ORMC and Dr Patel was called when it was determined by CT scan that I had a 5mm tear on my eyeball on the back side. He arrived to the hospital very quickly after they called him. He took me to surgery and repaired my torn eyeball. Discharged me at 330am and saw me back at his office for a follow up 7hrs later. He referred me to a retina specialist for further evaluation. I’m happy to say that not only has my vision returned as of yesterday I’m 20/25 in an eye that I was blind in not too long ago. He’s amazing. Thank you Dr Patel for being there 24/7 for those in need of your services!!

This Dr and staff are excellent! Let me start by saying I was turned down by another Dr for cataract surgery for not being honest about my expectations after surgery and being a pain about what the costs would be and I have insurance! So glad I did not go with that Dr! I was referred to Dr Patel by my personal eye Dr another amazing Dr Dr Seaman of Eyedeal Vision who I also highly recommend! So glad he did! Dr Patel and his staff are excellent! Very patient and always willing to give you time whether its about the procedure or the billing. When it comes to Dr Patel he never made me feel rushed about what I wanted to do. When I decided to possibly have one eye for distance and the other for reading he actually gave me contacts to wear for a week to see if I liked it! And when it came to the surgery at the surgery center all the nurses said he is their favorite Dr always super prepared and efficient and makes their job easier and that I was lucky to have him! Dont be fooled by the big Drs with lots of commercials come see Dr Patel! In Lake Nona!

It’s easy to find a dr, but not easy to find a competent, knowledgeable, kind PHYSICIAN. I am new to the area and had a problem I knew could be serious because of past experience and warnings. After reviewing a few websites and ratings, I chose Dr Patel at Lake Nona Ophthalmology. I called at 3 pm and had an emergency appt at 9:30 am the next day! All the comments are correct - a very clean office, great staff and, despite the rare remark, a minimal wait.nDr Patel did not hesitate to refer me to a retinal specialist he trusts. He also asked that I review the retinal scan images to help me understand my problem.nMost of all, he reassured me that currently I had no serious problems and fully explained why my sight was compromised.nI live in St Cloud area. The 30 minute travel time was well worth It!

It was really difficult for this office to give me an appointment. After explaining to the receptionist that I was experiencing Eye pain and irritation for several weeks she decided to give an appointment for November 24, 2020. Since yesterday November 9 the pain and irritation to my left eye was severe and left a message for them to call. Never heard from them. Luckily I was able to get a same day appointment today with Ramirez and Poulo MD in their downtown Orlando area. Found out that one of my oil gland was clogged with a calcified like stone that was causing me severe pain and discomfort. Can’t thank Dr. Ramírez and his professional staff enough for his compassionate care. I will advise Dr. Patel to better screened his calls. I will be calling them tomorrow to cancel my appointment.nGot a called Today from this office 11/16/2020 about how sorry they were about my pain and suffering and how they couldn’t accommodate me, didn’t believe a word of it. They only responded to this review. Shameful!
