My wife works here so I have a lot of inside info on how well the school runs. You'll never find a perfect school. But Deltona does so much with what it has available to them. Very supportive faculty and staff and an administration willing to do everything it can to help ensure student success and a safe learning environment.

I really love this school. My kids love it. They really do their hardest to help each and every child. They communicate with parents about ways to help the parents kids to succeed in class. Give out helpful websites, and practice work at home. I love their AR (acelerated reading) nights on Thursday from 3:45-6pm. I read to my kids in the library and they take test the score them on the comprehension of the books read to them or the books they read. My kids have really excelled! Especially the 20/20 math/reading they do at home so that the kids aren’t left behind. But remember parents also have to put in their share of work too, making sure you sit with your kid and read to them and challenge them in reading & math. When my kid were falling a little behind in math they offer computer camp early in the mornings that start at 7:45am -8:15am and also at the end of dismissal 3:10-3-45pm. My kids have really benefited with the extra help. These teachers challenge the kids and you will be surprised! At how your kid! Will be writing paragraphs in kindergarten! And reading @ a 4 grade level in kindergarten! My son was able too. Yours will too! Dedication is given to these kids! And I myself give the time to spend with my kids to have them at a higher level

I was a student at this school maybe 1 year ago and this is my experience at this school. i have endured bullying, not caring at all teachers, and an unhealthy environment. Let me tell you something about this school. If you would ever attend this school and get an injury, the nurse could care less. They would be very negative and only a bit helpful. And they NEED to do something about this environment. From my experience, spring hill is small and dangerous. A lot of narcotics in the school area. And not to long ago there was a murder in the area. I would not recommend this school mostly because of it's environment and non friendly staff. and if you think this school is bad from what i just told you, Fox Chapel even worse.

my daughter attended winding waters k8. I was nervous when she was rezoned to deltona. I have to say I am extremely satisfied with the entire school year. my daughter works very hard with making honor tool each quarter.She has made honor roll every quarter. her teacher goes out of the way and pulls children into small groups when additional help is needed. absolutely loved ms. Moores. such a wonderful caring dedicated teacher. also love the mandatory 20/20.

Absolutely awful! The majority of the staff here don't care about the kids. They care more about their paychecks. They say they don't tolerant bullying but they don't do anything to stop it. These kids don't get enough time to eat and or even be kids. If you have a kid who is autistic, adhd,add,etc don't bring them here because none of the staff know how to teach them. No patients! I will be happy to get my daughter out of this school.
