Mizrachi Dealer Academy

Last year I started thinking about being a Poker dealer and was very excited about the possibility. I lived in Jacksonville, which did not have anywhere to train. I researched everywhere in Florida and came across the Mizrachi Dealer Academy. I would train there for the next seven weeks, literally driving about four hours to spend three days in Fort Lauderdale.nThe school is currently run by Stacy, who has 25+ years experience in the industry. She is an expert dealer and also has a lot of experience being a player. She knows everything that you need to know and can give you the perspective of a dealer and a player and how the players will react.nStacy has a passion for the game and for dealing. She is very thorough and everything that you learn, you will use on the job. Stacy will teach you the rules of the several different games you need to know that casinos provide their players. The school is set up with several different poker tables very similar to how it will be at work. She also has connections and knows a lot of the hiring managers in casinos, and can teach you a very important thing, which is what they are looking for in auditions. In my audition, I was told that they knew I had training and was hired on the spot.nnIt was tough having to drive across the state, but when I was finished with training, I immediately was hired and I’m now enjoying my job and making a great amount of money!!!!nI have kept in touch with Stacy and let her know how things have gone. My job is enjoyable and I have a lot of friends. Being a poker dealer has a lot of multitasking, but it does pay very well and is a lot of fun. I have never had a job that I really enjoyed going to until now.nnGood luck to anyone who goes to the Academy, and remember to take the rake and jackpot.

She really makes the education clear and easy to consume. She also takes personal ownership of your success. This is the best place to prepare for a career in dealing poker.

No bs here. If you want to learn how to deal. This is the place for you. Small class sizes, flexible schedules and taught the correct way. Stacy is an awesome teacher and has a big heart. But you still have to put in the work. If you do you will not regret it. Who knows maybe some day you might just be that dealer on ESPN delaing the final table of the WSOP.

There is no other school that I would rather attend! For starters I am not the type of person who is interested in any type of school, but this one is special! A school with not only a fabulous teacher but a very easy and sufficient learning experience! Our teacher Stacy, has helped up become great dealers in the best way possible! With all of her help I am now the dealer I have always wanted to be! Thank you again stacy for an amazing experience!
