Sumner Station

The Sumner station is a good hub point from transit between Puyallup, Tacoma, Auburn, Seattle and Federal Way. Friendly atmosphere when fellow commuters meet daily and share a strong community ethic that I've not observed in many places. The train officers are very helpful to guide you if you're not certain how to find your destination and parking isn't too bad. Bike lockers are a big plus for cyclists and if you aren't going by train there is a medley of local transit and Express buses to move you where you're headed.

Large spacious area with staff and safety. There are also bike stands and bike lockers. The parking is lax though, so walk/bike to the station if possible

There is a lot of drunk people and there's no security officers at the Station and it makes me feel unsafe

Our car was stolen from the station parking lot so be aware and very cautious! Also if you are not taking the first or second train in the morning, you will not find parking! I've seen cars parked along the road with smashed out windows so when parking in the area, BE ALERT!

The service itself is great, the station is well lit and there is almost always a helpful attendant around. Parking is an absolute nightmare. With only about 300 spots they're all taken by 5am. Street parking is almost all 3 hour limit. Would be 5 stars if not for the parking issue. Bike to the station if you can.
