Just wanted to share with the world that if you like to get drunk and illegally enter people's homes in the middle of the night... then this is the town to do it! The police here are completely okay with that, seriously they don't mind one bit!nThanks SPD for all your hard work and dedication to keeping the drunks and tweekers of Sumner safe and out of jail!
Police Department is too quick to jump at what one person says and refuses to jump at another they pick and choose what they want to see followed up and seem to be quick to judge confusing who is the victim and who is the respondent in domestic issues. The police refuse to take statements of a so called respondent seriously at all which leads to unsafe conditions for whom they were supposed to protect in the first place. Furthermore they border on negligence when the city attorney has personal meetings and is buddies with an accuser fails to recuse herself and allow the accuser to continue to make”preemptive strikes” against any who may discredit them, and at the same time the police ignore any and all complaints made against this person even though this person who is obviously intoxicated and rather than stopping her when she is putting a child right along with everyone else on the road at risk decide they are going to try to threaten to charge the only people who were able to take care of the child with kidnapping. Even though she had already taken offoff with the child drunk. When are you going to actually do your job and protect the ones who actually need protecting
