I responded to an ad on indeed and worked for this company for four days for a total of 34 hours. Duties I performed included installing sheet rock, painting, glazing, and plastering among others. I was told I would be paid at the rate of 15$ hour. When I texted the fifth day to ask where the job site was, I received a text informing me not to go and that they were training new people. After that, I asked to get paid for the work I performed and was told it would take 3 weeks for payroll. I asked them to pay sooner since they never put me on their pay roll to begin with. They are presently ignoring me and being rude to me when all I want is to be paid for the work I already performed.
