I haven't even started counseling here yet- However the young man that helped get my appointment going as a new patient was ABSOLUTELY amazing. He gave me tons of information, was genuine and I don't think his customer service could get any better. Shout out to him- I didn't catch his name.

I’ve known Amanda Loretoni since 2015. She is a thoughtful and genuine counselor. She is professional yet down-to-earth with a wide area of experience.

I booked a session through Thriveworks with Althilia Moore because I was interested in EMDR for processing the experience of watching the person I loved most die suddenly. First, she was late, and when she started the Zoom session was on the phone and had the Zoom session muted. I waited and watched her talk for 5-6 minutes. She apologized, and really, I don't mind. If it had been a useful session, I wouldn't have cared about that part at all, but given how things went, now makes me feel like an afterthought in her day. She asked me the usual questions to get started, but when I told her my grief story, she was moving around the room, and it didn't seem like she was paying attention. She then told me that I don't have trauma, even if it may feel like it to me, and so she didn't recommend EMDR. She gave me what felt like platitudes about grief being a natural experience ( I know - I've gone through a lot of grief), and she wrapped up the session 15 minutes in. It was so upsetting. Not only did I pay 100 dollars out of pocket for that pointless 15 minutes, I left feeling like my experience was dismissed and invalidated.nThriveworks called me to follow up and said they would look into a partial refund, but then I never heard from them again. Don't take the risk here if you're paying out of pocket folks.

Amanda Loretoni is kind, compassionate, and highly skilled. She is a dear colleague and will meet you needs with utmost regard and without judgment that so many individuals seeking therapy fear.

I did my first appointment by zoom and it was a great experience. Mrs. Negron is so easy to talk to and I'm glad that she's an angel in my path to point me in the right direction.
