Dr. Kerge is an amazing physician due to her degree of knowledge and bedside manner. For a year at age 33 I was basically confined to my bed. I saw Dr. Harding who got the ball rolling who is an orthopedic surgeon, very knowledgeable. He referred me to her office due to back pain, scoliosis, tilted pelvis. Prior to her care I had 3 nerve blocks, 2 rounds of physical therapy and loads of testing done. Dr. Kerge did her initial assessment and within minutes of poking my back as I bended forward she knew EXACTLY what was wrong. I had my procedure and now have my life back at 33 pain free. What makes her unique is her ability to show empathy, actively listens and never is in a rush to dismiss her patients. She asked everytime about my father who was ill, those are the little details that showed she cared. Her office manager Sarah is AMAZING! I had an issue with my first visit and she immediately rectified it. Christine in insurance verification rocks and is an asset. She acknowledged a pre authorization issue and it was solved in 3 days with me having my procedure in 5 days. Thank you to Carissa, Brandy and Susan for helping me schedule and patiently returning my phone calls. Makayla Dr. Kerge’s assistant prior to my ablation and nerve blocks made the process smooth and helped calm my nerves. Hands down an AMAZING TEAM! WAY TO GO MARY WASHINGTON SPINE & REHAB!

My wife went here through a referral and they referred her to an addiction therapist and said she was faking her pain. So all the days she laid in bed throwing up is made up? Her doctor starting her on chemotherapy is a made up diagnosis? The times she had to call out of work because she was in so much pain was made up? And here's the kicker she requested to be kept off of narcotics if it was possible. You can expect unprofessional, judgemental, and inhumane treatment from this place. Go anywhere else.

I was a patient there and I was putting on my jacket and I felt something pop in my back and pain radiated down the front of my thigh. The pain in my lower back was so severe and intense that I couldn’t move, I dropped down in my wheelchair and called my grandson and asked him to come down and help me. He came down and they drove me to Spotslivania Regional Hospital. I had a Cat Scan done there and the doctor said no fracture and for me to get a hold of pain management on Monday. I called and called them and got no answer my friend finally drove to there office and told them that I had been in such pain I couldn’t get out of bed without help and I would scream in pain and puke because of the pain. They said they couldn’t talk to her that they were going to call me this was yesterday, I never got a call. I called there office and left a message this morning and didn’t get a return call this morning so I went to the emergency room at the VA. While at the VA emergency room I got a call from there office telling me that they we’re discharging me from there practice. I asked them why? They said my friend had just left there and caused trouble in there waiting room. My friend said she just asked them a few questions and told them she was going to leave a google rating like I’m doing. She said she never raised her voice at them but that they were very rude. I know that I didn’t do anything I was in the ER I did have her go there yesterday because they didn’t answer there phone and they never answer there phone. I do know there staff can be rude! I am not going to miss going there!

A year ago I was in the worst pain of my life. My knee was a mess and I was a few weeks away from surgery when my orthopedic Dr. Dr. Onyike reference me here. The staff were kind and patient and so was Lara Britton who seemed to know my surgeon. My first appointment was rushed as their computers were down but other wise it seemed fine. At home that week though my back hurt along with my knee so severely that I started throwing up when the pain would strike without warning which was often. My sister a retired nurse said it wouldn't hurt to take more of the medicine I had just thrown up so I did but not always. So I made an earlier appointment to see Lara Britton to explain and ask her what to do. ( I was not there for meds I was having surgery any day) So when I was open and honest I was not expecting unkindness!! I don't know but I've never felt so alone, so betrayed and down right humiliated. I was just sent away without another word. I wouldn't go here if you want someone to actually care about you.
