The museum is closed due to the pandemic. The falls viewing locations are open and the views of the falls are wonderful. Parking can be difficult to find, but we were able to park in the free lot and walk across the bridge to the fLls viewing points. Also the trail to the lower falls is a good walk too.

Another must visit place if you are in Seattle. It is a small museum, not much crowded, and you can revisit history on how the electric power was generated using falling water. They have the old altimeters, turbine, generator etc which are very well preserved. The visitor Center people are really helpful and you can ask them any questions. The museum is right next to a railway track, be cautious as the tour train might show up unannounced.

I took the tour down into the actual power plant not just museum. Walked out the bottom and came out at the bottom of the falls. Not a tour for the public but it is amazing. The original generators are still in service. Mechanics must be really good.

The virtual scavenger hunt was not difficult. However, it didn't follow any sort of pattern or specific pattern around the exhibits so I found it frustrating. Any general knowledge and experience with riddles would give you the right answers. I really had hoped it would enhance the museum exhibits or at least make it easier to navigate the museum. I didnt know where to start and end. The whole experience felt very disjointed.

Cool place!! Nice to see the history of the dam and the years or service. It's free, what's not to like about that. Go see Snoqualmie falls and stop by the museum.
