Perfect place for the eclipse, it was amazing, I found lots of agates, opals, petrified wood and jasper here as well. The eclipse was much more beautiful than I thought
This amazing place has brought some of the best moments and memories I've ever gotten to experienc. From the second we drove up, to the moment we had to leave (which was so hard). Every second there was so incredibly special, i would be honored to be able to walk those grounds again and feel the energies it has to offer.
Great site for the Oregon Eclipse Gathering 2017. We were parked in overflow because we ended up being late. The water station (which was a truck with a giant water tank) was pretty much empty so we had to go closer to the festival site to fill up on water.
Such a great place to camp. In the spring you’ll be excited to see the lavender, bitterroot, or wild daisies in bloom. Nearly every spot you look for camping has an active spring running through it. Also the nearby mountains are great for motorcycles, and ATVs.
The grounds at Big Summit Prairie are very inspiring. From my visit to this location, it seemed like you never seen the same thing twice. The lake was beautiful and very scenic in the mountains. I loved the old ranch homes and barns on property. Thank you for hosting your grounds to us eclipse seekers, I know there were many of us there and truly appreciate your land.
