Great view of the mine. Very nicely done. It was great to see the lives of those lost remembered for generations to come.
One of the most moving memorials I've ever seen. I'm sorry we didn't take more pictures. It is a beautiful site with native country flags of those lost in this disaster. Great recordings, one is of the last living survivor and written letters and wills as men knew they were dying.n15 minutes off the highway but Butte has many other things to see.
Hallowed indeed. If you’re up for a workout, take the trail that cuts through Uptown Butte to get here. Many mines and sights to see along the way. The history presented is fascinating and sobering.
It was a cool memorial. They have buttons to press that give an oral history of the disaster and a beautiful view of the colorful minerals in the land
This is a nice place to visit, though its a sad reminder of how dangerous and tragic this mine has been. it is overlooking the pit mine, with different layers and colors of earth can be seen from this distance. Also the town that grew with this mine is also visible from a top. I was here during sunset and it was spectacular.
