The West Star Hotel was a nice place to rest our head as we visited the casinos in the area. If you aren't needing anything fancy, it will do the job. Be prepared to see some stains on the carpet. It could use replacing. There was a coffee pot and coffee available, so that was nice. This hotel is pet friendly for a small deposit. The bar/casino downstairs was a nice place to end the day. Music was good and the bartender made the best rum & cokes we've had. Again, nothing fancy, but if you're looking to save some $$, it's a decent stay.
This place is in dire need of some improvements. Inside and out is quite antiquated. Sagging beds, typical paper thin walls and floors so you here EVERYTHING going on around you and of course it's also a casino so people are up roaming around til 3-4 am. Heater/Cooler sounds like a jet airplane taking off everytime it starts up so that's fun to get woken up to every hour. Breakfast bar consists of bananas, corn flakes and cheap blueberry muffins. Hotels like this will make you want to buy an RV.

Perfectly okay. The furnishings are a bit older, as you'd expect in a budget motel.nnIt's never been clear to me why cheap motels like to put the showerhead four feet off the ground, but they do. This one was about six inches lower than a Motel 6 showerhead.nnGoogle Maps sent us to the wrong address in town. Luckily the town is a mile long, if that.
Great Hotel for a really small Town,really good healthy breakfast, very clean rooms,great view for someone eho like nature/outdoors 4wheeling etc.....nLady owner great customer service,very amicable,friendly, polite & most of very Respectful..nI will surely comeback again & again...
