I recently moved to Calhan from out of state. My registration for my vehicles had expired so I needed a VIN verification so I can get them registered. I called and left a message with someone named Jennifer Jack but did not receive a call back. I called a week later to follow up and left another message for an officer to call me. After getting no response back again, I called back the next day. The person I talked to said there were no officers available at this time. I told them to forget about it and that I would get the inspection taken care of elsewhere. My first impression of the Calhan police department is a very negative one and it's a shame that there is no reliability there.

I would like to publicly thank Officer Weinburger (bad spelling sorry) for giving me a pass today. My children had a suprise day off from school today and we decided to go to the auction. Officer Weinburger followed me into the parking lot and informed me of several infractions with my vehichle and my identification. I promised I would rectify them and he took me at my word and let me go without even a warning. After the auction I promptly made the corrections.nThank you Calhan Police department for your professionalism.
