Hilton Garden Inn Colorado Springs

I stayed here thanksgiving night with my significant other after visiting family locally. Arrived between 6-7p and front door was locked. Find this odd and attempted to use phone in corridor area but didn’t look like it was properly sanitized so I didn’t bother fooling around with it for long and I could see the employee was not busy and could see us so I waited for her to open the door. After waiting what seemed like forever she opened the door so we could check in.nnThe first thing she said was “is the phone not working?” How rude!!! How about “hi welcome to Hilton garden inn, thanks for choosing to stay with us, what’s the name on the reservation?”nnIt’s amazing how she acted as if she was doing me a favor when I’m the one paying over $100 night for this room. I have traveled nationally both for leisure and business and stayed at various Hilton and Hilton affiliate properties and have never been treated so rudely.nnOutside of the nasty demeanor of the employee at check in the stay overall was great. Room was spacious and new, and overall comfortable. There was a clicking noise from water heater that somewhat disturbed me from sleeping but not enough to reduce the rating. Breakfast is a box with an apple, bagel, cream cheese and orange juice. Would prefer a little more options but it’s not the end of the world. Check out process was much better than check in and that woman was appropriately respectful and friendly.nnI’m on the fence about staying here again, would rate a 4/5 but the check in girl was so rude that I can’t rate any higher than a 3 and very close to a 2.5.

I came for the Tesla destination charger. Hotel and room were fine but my room door didn’t shut and latch. Without the extra inside lock we weren’t secure. It couldn’t shut all the way. I told the desk in the morning and they said ok. I would have expected more of an effort to understand how crazy that was and offer some kind of compensation.

Stay here at your own risk. Front desk staff and the others who actually keep this place functioning do their job but it stops there. The general manager of this location treats his guests as bad as I've ever seen. Then when he gets it back he calls the only other people working in Montgomery, the Police. Much nicer hotels in the same area for the same price. And you won't risk running afoul of the manager. I'm dead serious.nnEdit to GM reply: No one was threatened in any way. Insulted maybe after he was so disrespectful. I can imagine the police would have actually arrested someone if threats were made. So not only is the GM a poor host. He also lies. And you hope I get better? I was better the moment I left your hotel.

Very very comfortable..will return again great price also

Worst guest service, awful customer service. We came in the morning requested early check in they said it would be ready by 10 am but we got checked only at 3 pm. The hotel website, mentioned about complimentary coffee, when I asked for regular coffee they said no regular coffee and they cannot able to allow me to use the front desk coffee machine . The hotel receptionist was not friendly.
