After driving for 9 hours we arrived in gallop, NM at around 5:15 when our bus broke down. We called them and they said they could send another bus from Albuquerque but it would be here in 2 hours. At around 9 we decided that it wasn’t going to come. The other bus we went with went to our destination which was 3 hours away and then came back to pick us up. At around 3am our other bus finally came back and we’re arriving at our hotel at 6am when we were supposed to get there at around 6pm. I am beyond livid if the company didn’t literally lie to us about the other bus coming we would’ve been able to get there hours earlier. The company is unreliable and I wouldn’t recommend using them.

Thanks for the shuttle to the zoo Terri! You had some excellent advice for our visit. Although a short ride from the high school to the zoo our family really enjoyed you pointing out all scenic points of interest. We would definitely take the shuttle service again!

I've been riding for 2 years now, several times per week. Ramblin has recently become very unreliable. They are constantly more than 20-30 minutes late. It sounds like they have really messed with their employees schedules, which causes frustration from the drivers. They have increased the fare to ride, but now offer fewer options to certain stops. The ticketing system went from reasonable to what is now a pain in the rear, just to ride. It just seems that they are more concerned about money than the people who ride the bus, or the people who drive the bus. It's a shame, they used to operate really well. I would recommend a different transportation service to anyone able to avoid Ramblin. Dang...

at 5:13 we arrived to a gas station in gallup, new mexico which was also a mechanic shop, since our bus started going really slow and it felt like we were moving at 10mph. as all the band kids messed around the gas station for a bit we proceeded to move outside to prevent crowding and annoyance to customers. turns out the engine light came on and we were trying to get it fixed, sitting outside for 3 hours. we had called to get a second bus from albuquerque, just in case ours didn’t work. turns out, we were promised a bus the company knew was never going to come to us. they had a bus ready, but no available drivers. we were stranded in the middle of nowhere at a nasty gas station in the truck’s parking lot for about 10 hours. we had to eventually sleep on the bus, as our second bus from all the way to flagstaff, arizona to our hotel, drive back, and then get us. my back is close to broken as it was hard to sleep on a bus with 0 leg room and the “reclining” chairs sucked. some kids slept on the floor of the bus, which was not cleaned before we got on (there was trash in between the seats and the wall). miserable first day of our four-day trip, where we were supposed to have a good time. we have to keep using these buses until the trip is done.

Great alternative to driving to Cripple Creek. Sit back, relax, leave the driving to someone else. Always a comfortable ride and always (in my experience) very punctual. The fare is $25 round trip and you get a book of coopins with your ticket. Will probably never take the car again.
