Sam Livingston

Watch out for Sam Livingston, he’s a crook. I bought a home from him in October 2019 and the seller was supposed to take care of issues with the home that the inspector pointed out. The seller did not take care of all the issues upon final walk through and I was gonna leave the home behind. The realtor Sam Livingston assured me that he himself will take care of the issues. I told him I want that in writing and an addendum for 2,000 in case they don’t take care of what needs to be done. He agreed and showed up taking care of what needed to be done at the home. I asked him where are the contractors? He assured me he has renovated homes for 14 years and he is capable of doing the work himself. I agreed. He wrote me the check and proceeded to take care of half of the items that were on the list. He told me he would be back the next day and I agreed. I felt he was taking care of the issues and I gave him the benefit of the doubt and I handed him the check back. Big mistake! He never showed back up again ha I took him to civil court and he didn’t even show up. I was granted the 2,000 and then he was notified but he appealed the decision. We went back to court and he brought 2 lawyers and I was still awarded but only 346.00 plus 5% well... he still hasn’t paid me my money that is due. By the way , if you take someone to civil court. I guess it’s not mandatory to get your funds. What a waste of time , money for court costs and aggravation! I wouldn’t trust Sam Livingston, he is not a trustworthy person.
