FOR THOSE CONSIDERING TO TAKE MICROBLADING TRAINING: I took Camille’s 2 Day microblading course which cost $1500 so I will only post my review for people who are considering training through Camille. DONT DO IT! Before registering and spending this amount of money, I personally spoke to Camille and she reassured me that there would be continued support after the class in a mentor capacity. Additionally, the details of the training information stated it at the time. There has been no continued support. Any kind of additional support or help has been instigated and pushed because of my actions. It was like pulling teeth. I’d reach out for post course materials that she reviewed in the class and would be told to look online or somewhere else to get it. No mentorship. No apprenticeship or opportunity to practice what we learned after receiving certification. She will act like she cares but she is doing the bare minimum. I had to reach out for additional support from other seasoned permanent makeup artists to learn and be confident with doing clients on my own. She is not a good trainer! On the day of my practical, the client that I was working on had very little brows. After I completed the 3rd pass, I saw gaps that needed filling in. I asked to fill them in because I (nor the client) was satisfied with the final look. She gave me a “no” in front of the client and I really just believe she was ready for the last day of training to be over. The client remembers that to this day because I’m doing the touchup.nI hate to give this bad review because I want to support minority businesses, but I feel that Camille does not care about the success of her trainees after you pay her your money. Please do your research and find you a trainer that requires or give you the option to apprentice as a part of the program. Many “trainers” like Camille just want the money. Each training with 4 students is $6,000 in 2 days. It’s a ripoff and disservice to students. Professionalism and customer service are the foundation to every successful and LONG TERM business.
