Cascade Elementary School

My daughter has been going to Cascade since 1st Grade. I love the teachers and the entire staff. We have been so fortunate to get amazing teachers every year, which makes for going to school a fun experience. Great School if you are moving into this area!

We have gone to this school for a little over a year now and we love it. I have had great communication with the staff and teachers. It is also a good school with kids who have any special needs.

My daughter was forced to transfer after already being enrolled for a month at Cascade elementary to another school. This school and the district have let me and my family down. Every child is seen as a number in the bigger picture versus a child with feelings. How a school can overload an entire grade by 16 students and not make this aware to the parents until after a month into the school year causing disruption in 15 different families lives and routine and not even blink an eye. I was simply told by the principal I could call her boss and ask him if my daughter could stay... Not even the slightest push or fight from the principle for my daughter until I asked her why she would not call her boss and ask or fight for my student.. when she found out the decision she did not call me back but instead I was told when I called in to talk to her , that she had just gotten off the phone with her boss and he would call me... I knew right then we had been denied again... I had hoped she would of at least spoke to me then and pointed me in a different direction but no personal touch or care to speak to me seemed to be shown. This shows me there is a lack of care for her students on a personal level . The teachers are great and so is the staff I will say. Although the next day I did receive a phone call saying both of my students were absent ... when I called freaking out as i dropped them both off at school they told me it was an accident even though both of my children attend different classes at this same school in different grades...... * Follow up, I was called by the office the next day after speaking with her boss and being denied and told my daughter would start the following school day at the new school before they even knew what class , what teacher , or where the bus would pick her up at.... highly disappointed again ....

I love this place because it has nice teachers and they are amazing

Son in 3rd gr and he came in half way thru the year and has been welcomed by the students and staff he loves it and is already ahead of where he started comming from Nevada
