I love the atmosphere and food is awesome

I moved here from the big city about a year or so ago and was used to my barber for almost 15 years. Getting your hair cut is a very personal thing it not only helps to define who you are but how you feel about yourself. So moving to a new place and finding a new barber (hair stylist) is tough.nnWhen I first walked into Haircutz I felt at home. Lucy Scala is friendly, caring and does a great job with the scissors. The price is very reasonable. Because of this I go back regularly to get my hair cut from her.nnI've been to the Hudson Valley Mall for a cut... yup it's cheaper... and it proved the saying you get what you pay for... and sadly a good cut and friendly service like Lucy gives is not what you pay for there.nnSo if you want a good cut and a place to call home, someone that really cares about you, your hair and how you look... Woodstock Haircutz is the place you need to go.

Some people never grow up. I never grew up and therefore, I still hate going to get my haircut. Which is ironic in this case, because I always walk out of this place feeling better. Over the years I've found Lucy, the owner, and the occasional staff to be courteous and kind, and quite capable of dealing artfully with my somewhat age-challenged head of hair.

Lucy Scala is an artist. She creates a style that fits the person. I started going to her in 1994. She does exquisite color, and she knows what to do with short hair. I have been to stylists in NY, Rome, Denver and she is by far the best, most artistic and on top of all this... she is wonderful, funny and an all around gem!
