It's where I call home
Long Beach especially the LIRR station had men hanging out, standing around just idling (I guess they have no work) and some were begging money. Lots of restaurants and stores, many closed
The Long Beach LIRR station is a short walk from the Beach.There are Ice Cream Shops, a bagel place and various resturants across the street. There is parking nearby, but be careful you don't park in the parking lot of the shopping center next door to the station. There are signs they ticket cards that don't belong there.nnThe station is a little bigger than most of the other stations in Long Island. Give yourself a few extra minutes to catch your train, especially if you are not familar with the layout of the station.
Beautiful LIIR station and surrounding
Very nice station, but I hope soon it will get a makeover would be amazing if they did so lirr.
