We recently had an issue with a package thief - seemingly not a big deal, but a huge invasion of privacy as well as a high-value item stolen. Using the footage from our Wyze cam, the BPD identified the suspects within about 24 hours, had retrieved the stolen item within about 48 hours, and processed it as evidence and had it returned to us within a week.nThis was handled by Officer DeGroot and Detective Hill, who stayed in constant contact via both email and phone and we never had to call or harass for updates like we were expecting to. We were very, very happy with not only the end result, but also what an excellent job the cops involved did.nThank you!

I have rarely had a good experience with the police in this town. Just yesterday my sis and I were being tailgated and honked at while slowing for toddler trick-or-treaters and a cop drive right past in the next lane ignoring it. I always have been a law abiding citizen and have never been treated as such either. I just hope the few good ones stick around.
