The John Jay College of Criminal Justice built a memorial to the first responders to the World Trade Center buildings when they were attacked on 9/11/2001. There is a sculpture, photos, and other information. There usually aren't a lot of people here so it's a wonderful place to remember what happened on that day and its aftermath and to reflect on the tragedy.nnThe memorial is located at the east end of the New Building. You can also reach it from the lobby of Haaren Hall. Although it isn't specifically open to the public you can visit the memorial if you have access to the building for another event: say a sports event at Haaren Hall or the theatre in the New Building.
