We drove five hours from Joplin, Missouri to the museum. The website listed their hours and we showed up during those hours. The doors were locked and there was a note on the window saying that they were closed today and would be open tomorrow.nIt's 2020, put this information on your website so you do not waste my valuable vacation time and gasoline. I am very displeased with this situation.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. It's like the workers here left for the night and just never came back. Everything laying out like in the middle of a job. Our tour guide pointed out and explained so many things you would miss if you just looked around. If you like windmills, tools or ingenuity you'll enjoy this place!

Had a great visit to the museum. We were giving a very informative tour of the factory and everything that it contained. Our family learned a lot during the visit about the Eli Windmills and how they were made. Also a lot of history on the family and their other ventures. I recommend stopping in and checking out this well preserved piece of history.

It was really cool to see all the old tools and see how old technology made it so far into the 20th century. The best part was that the curator of the museum was very knowledgeable and could explain the social and technological history in great detail.

Super awesome place to visit and learn some history of windmill's. We totally enjoyed it and it is kind of interactive because they have lots of video's explains things. Guide answered all our questions and explained something's we saw and didn't know what they were.
