Jacquelyn did the makeup for my wedding day and she was a DREAM to work with!! From our trial that we did at her in-home studio, to the morning of my big day where she met us at the hotel to get ready, she was prompt and professional.nnMakeup was something that I was so nervous to have done because I am fairly particular. I didn't want to look too fake or over-the-top, but I also wanted to have some elegant bridal drama, especially with the lashes. When I told this to Jacquelyn, she listened openly, and knew exactly what I meant! She was also GENUINELY so jazzed to be working with me, and I felt her authenticity.nnOn the day of, she arrived early and was prepared with lighting and her full palette. She got to work with my bridesmaids, MOB, and MOG. From those that wanted all the drama with the lashes and lips to those that wanted a more natural look, she helped everyone feel beautiful.nnAfter looking at other's reviews, I decided it would be valuable to have Jacquelyn travel to our wedding photo location as an extra set of hands. She was there to keep nerves calm and help hold us together.nnIf you are looking for a makeup artist that will listen to your makeup needs and make sure you 110% LOVE YOUR LOOK, then Beauty by Jacquelyn is your girl! J was incredible in every way! She was so sweet and friendly, and so down-to-earth which made me love her even more! I never wear make-up so putting anything besides mascara on makes me nervous. J was very understanding and made sure I felt comfortable with every step and never pushed me to do something I wasn't totally okay with. In the end I felt absolutely beautiful and could not have asked for a better, more comfortable experience with a make-up artist. 100% will work with her for my wedding day! Thank you J for your incredible talent!

Jacquelyn recently provided her services for my friend's wedding. Not only was she professional and did an amazing job making us all feel extra beautiful, but she was patient, explained what she was doing, asked for inputs and opinions and was open to changing looks that people did not feel comfortable in. She was an easy-going, kind, knowledgeable artist! We all looked and felt comfortable and confident! In general, she was great company to have around throughout the morning as well! She added to the positive energy level surrounding the day! I couldn't recommend her enough!

Jacquelyn is a good friend from our college marching band years! When my friend Brittany was planning her wedding, connecting with Jacquelyn for our makeup was a no-brainer!! From the trial, to planning and day-of details, she is so organized, professional, and communicative. She was there early on wedding day and even took the time to write a sweet congratulatory note on a poster board! Our makeup was absolutely beautiful and stayed that way through all of our dance moves at the end of the night! I got so many compliments on how my eyes were popping and I felt like a supermodel! As if working with Jacquelyn could get any better, the best part was how FUN it was to have her do my makeup! Every time she likes anything about how it's turning out, she gets just giddy. You can truly tell that she absolutely loves makeup, highlighting people's true beauty, and her clients!! Such an amazing experience overall!

I was a bridesmaid for my brother's wedding and Jacquelyn did the makeup for the bridal party. Jacquelyn is just the most amazing person ever! She's so sweet and the makeup looked fantastic. Not only did she do all the makeup at the bride's parent's house, she also, for a VERY reasonable price, stayed for pictures to continue to touch up the make up. We were short on transport to the venue and she offered to drive 4 of the bridesmaids. So sweet! When we got there, the bridesmaids had to help unload liquor from cars and Jacquelyn just grabbed a box and helped out. She is not only amazing at doing the make up but went above and beyond to be an incredible and calm presence while getting ready for the wedding. She even kept reminding the bride to drink more water so she wouldn't faint. I love Jacquelyn and cannot speak highly enough of her work.
