Good depot
I'm a senior and I didn't really know what I needed. I explained to the young male clerk and he was amazing. He helped me all the way thru the self check out! I had every intention of remembering his name....but...
Went into the home depot in Covington at 7:30 on Wednesday September 16th because I needed a copy of one of the receipts off my PRO XTRA account. The 3 employees that were just standing there, looked at me like I asked them to perform brain surgery. Tell me the person who can perform this task that any 6 year old can do wont be in until 9-10 . Really dialed in staff 9-10, only an hour window. So with they're complete lack of work understanding send me to customer service. Customer service was aggravated because the pro desk sent me to her ,so she called and told them she was going to send me back. A copy of a receipt that takes 10 seconds to pull up on their screens. So I go back and the geniuses at the pro desk tell me I can go online and print it off my self. Amazing!!!! Still haven't moved since I first walked in by the way! In a hurry had to go there anyways didn't even think twice about just asking them to print out a copy of my receipt. What a joke!!!! However much they make an hour, cut it in half and pay the guy getting the carts. He's actually doing something for the customers!!! Disgusted!!!!!
My wife found the replacement bathtub she wanted and took a picture of the tag which she sent to me. When I went there to purchase it, the aisle and bin numbers were included on the tag, so it was very easy to find it. The employee [Jesus] was very helpful in putting it on the cart for me. The checkout was smooth and the guys in the parking lot cheerfully loaded it into the van. Later the pickup of the flooring materials ordered online was easy to get. The employee took time to check on the arrival for the remaining online order as well.
Pretty good Home Depot store. Friendly people just impossible to find an expert. Somebody who knows what they are doing. You'll find them just look around in the general area of your item if you know where it is.nnAlways check online for better deals. They are actually competitive in some areas like power tools, but small items if you can wait save some money.
