Go there every year by far best ice cream ever and ther foot long hot dog.
We stopped in just for ice-cream. It was DELICIOUS! All of the flavors we chose were so true - coffee was coffee-Flavored, not a weak version of it, same with the peanut butter, black raspberry and Caramel cookies and cream. And those home-made waffle cones? Wow! Superb. The seating down toward the river was really nice too.
Silky smooth, creamy homemade ice cream. It's on the pricey end, but worth it! Doesn't get much better than this!
Located on a quiet stretch of Route 133 next to the Wayne Post Office, Tubby’s has been churning out the some of Maine’s best ice cream since 2001. In addition to a full menu of burgers, lobstah rolls, and phenomenal hot dogs (with grilled, buttered buns in true New England style), Tubby’s boasts unique ice cream flavors with high-end ingredients that belie this humble shop. Although a few benches are available by the order counter, regulars are more likely to be found sitting out back by the lake.
Super good ice cream. Get the grape nut ice cream. You won't regret it!
