Just called to request overnight parking for another day since our driveway is being redone and it’s still not done but the officer told me I have to call their supervisor before 5 pm during the week to extend it. I’ve literally called every day before today to request the overnight parking around 7-8 pm at night and they have kindly done it for me but this officer was lazy and did not want to do it. So if I get a ticket for parking on the street, I will gladly walk in there to give back the ticket since I physically can’t park in my driveway and since your officer told me I had to call before 5 pm to extend it when I have requested it after 5 pm many times before.
I work at the Bolingbrook Park District and want to recognize a hard working police officer named Rich Burdette. He does his job with energy, passion and most importantly a smile. I've never met such a friendly and informative officer. He represents his badge, department and this town well.
Lady at the desk was extremely rude upon me asking questions regarding Court papers. I thought as the POLICE DEPARTMENT that they were to serve the people. Guess not in Bolingbrook anyways!
The guy cops responding were cool and actually useful but this short girl cop wasn’t. I was told that my opinion was unnecessary. I thought she would’ve understood the first amendment and freedom of speech but I guess not. Lol. Maybe she needs more training. I thought even non cops knew this? Hire more intelligible cops Bolingbrook.
I called the BPD for some information on how to get a copy of a police report, since I have no clue on how to do this. I called around 5:30 - 6pm and the young lady that answered, I believe her name was Gisele answered and kindly told me I had to call early the next day during regular business hours. She did listen to my concerns and questions, I am so grateful she was helpful towards me.
