Matte - A Nail Lounge

It was my first time going there. I got a pedicure by an older gentleman and he cut my toe nails down to the skin. They were hurting. I got a full set of nails with no chip. The Lady who did my nails didn’t put enough of the powder on there and she didn’t put the tips on correctly. 3 of my nails broke in a week and one was my baby finger that slip in the middle. It seemed like they were trying to save product. I will not go back

Lovely location. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Nail technician was very sweet, precise and detail-oriented. Very happy with her work. I may have found my go-to. ud83dude0a

This is the WORST place for a no chip manicure. My daughters and I went in for a no chip manicure, which cost $40.00 each. A day after having our nails done, each one of us had a chip in our nails. A no chip manicure should last at least two weeks. My daughter went in the next day to have it fixed and they wanted to charge her $10. They said that they only guarantee the no chip for 10 days. It was ONE day and we had chips. Do not go there!

This was my first visit at Matte and I love it! Eric was very detailed and did an amazing job with my nails. The pedicure was very relaxing. Will definitely be coming here again!

Let me start by saying the quality of service is nice. I like my nails .However there are certain requirements that CDC require for business to open back up. I witness the salon DID NOT practice the following. 1. They do not check temperatures upon entering 2). They DO NOT ask you to wash or sanitize your hands before service. 3) They DO NOT disinfect before or in between service . ALL of these ARE requirement of CDC to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.. There are sanitizer at each station but they do not ask nor enforce customers to use it. Not 1 customer used it the sanitizer besides myself . The techs do not wash there hands in between customers Which is also a concern. This salon can use a lot of improvement in protecting workers as well as customers . Below are Covid guideline from CDC’s website that ALL salons should be practicing .nClean and Disinfect high-touch surfaces (places where a lot of people might touch).nn1)For high-touch surfaces, use products that are EPA-registered. Always follow the directions on the label.
