Having a wedding 2021/2022? DO NOT take the chance with Brittany Jacobs who owns Brittany Chevelle Beauty in Moline IL-now mobile with her camper with out fully understanding her contract.nnIf you fear you may need to cancel due to covid and restrictions. She offers no refunds or transfers of credit as long as she is able to still perform the services regardless if your venue can't or has restrictions. This is stated in her contract as she so kindly highlighted and sent me again. We had hoped with our venue not being able to perform the full service we needed, she would be understanding and transfer the funds already paid toward other services (which I would have paid $100s more for in the end) maybe a day with my bridesmaid's or myself.nnBut We made the hard decision to cancel our wedding May 22 2021 due to future unforseen covid restrictions. We wanted our whole wedding guest list there and didnt want to have to choose 50 ppl out of 200 if we were restricted.nnIt is a challenging time with covid and still trying to plan your perfect day. Devastating. Not what any women ever wants to donnWhen we got engaged we worked quickly to secure professionals for our day. I paid half the retainer (through paypal) A YEAR in advance.nn4 months later no follow up or planning from her besides taking my payment.I Reached out to her to add an additional party to my wedding and paid her additional for that. I asked about additional services to prepare for my wedding day and skin care suggestions with no detailed response / plan information specific for me.nnI reached out to Brittany 5 MONTHS in advance and asked about using the funds I already paid her for the wedding towards a partial credit for other services she offers. She stated that since there is no declared restrictions for her and she can still perform her services; she will not offer any refund or credit towards other services even when canceling five months in advance. Good news was since I cancelled within 60 days she wouldn't charge me the remaining balance.nnWe never met with her or had any detailed conversation with her about our wedding day or what she would all do for me and my party on my day besides the contract she emailed to me. (I'm honestly not even sure if she remembered our event until I tried to cancel) maybe it's normal not to follow up? I've never had a wedding before.nnDon't get me wrong, it was not ALOT of money by any means. We cut our loss but I hope you read this and fully read her multi page contract. Maybe we can save someone else the hassle.nnLots of other professionals in the QC, I would not recommend her.

Our experience with Brittany Chevelle makeup and her team was PERFECT. I truly mean that!!! Her work, expertise and professionalism exceeded my dreams. We hired her for my daughter’s wedding and every one of the ladies all felt the same way. She/they brought out our beauty, it was a happy and stress free time and the makeup was GORGEOUS!!! I loved all of her products and I hope to get a facial from her soon. I’ll recommend her again and again. I can’t wait to go back honestly. She is a wonderful lady to work and deal with. Her payments were very easy to do and I’m not computer savvy. Everything about her and her company is TOP NOTCH!

I had my brows micro bladed by Brittany and wow. What a fantastic experience! She walked me through everything step by step and gave me the absolute best results! Better than I had imagined! She was so kind to allow me to text her after when I forgot how to care for them, and was so patient explaining everything again. 10/10 would recommend

I am a Cosmetologist and when we have wedding parties come in, dances, pictures or anything you would want or need makeup for, Brittany has always been the very first person we recommend. Hands down the best makeup artist we have ever worked with. Now, with all the other services she has to offer, why would you go anywhere else! She does it all and I have ALWAYS been happy with anything she has done. Highly recommend.

Brittany was wonderful throughout the whole experience. She clearly explained everything that she would be doing step by step. She stopped periodically during both sessions so I could take a look at my brows and answered any questions I had. I am extremely happy with the results. She was very professional and definitely worked hard to make sure I was happy with the end result.nI only wish I would have done it sooner!
