Covington Elementary School

My daughter was bullied at Covington Elementary by the same girl for 5 years. The school didn't protect or do ANYTHING to help her... made her feel like it was her fault because she didn't stand up for herself. This all began in 1st grade, by 3rd grade I refused to let her go to school until they got her out of the bully's same class -why they would put them together in for 1st place is mind boggling to me!- Only then did the switch her. She continued to get bullied and in 5th grade she was again placed in the same classroom as her. The year started with her shoving my child and the year ending in a no contact order. The lack of carelessness and neglect is unreal. I don't get why they didn't give a crap about her whatsoever. It was only after she left for 6th grade to a different elementary that the current principal apologized for 5th grade. What about 1-4th? Myself and my siblings all attended school here and let me tell you it has gone to the dogs! It is not what it once was, a place to feel save and cared about.
