Hydroplane & Race Boat Museum

We are in Seattle for the American Powerboat Association annual meeting. They had a dinner for all of us. It was absolutely amazing!!!! I had such wonderful time seeing all the boats, memorabilia, etc. If you love boats, especially racing boats you will love seeing these huge hydroplanes up close. We will be back for a visit. They also have a cute little gift shop of t-shirts and memorabilia.

An amazing group with a rich history about Hydroplanes and Racing!

Absolutely incredible experience. An active shoe for the restoration of the boats and a rotating collection of restored and running hydroplanes. The museum is absolutely overflowing with the history of the sport and the culture around it.

Enjoyed reliving my youth with the guides at this museum. Wish they had more space. Lots of detailed information and interesting stories. I’m seriously considering joining. Want to give back to a sport I enjoyed so much.

this place is fantastic even if you're clueless when it comes to hydroplanes. We got a tour from Park who made it fun for me and a three-year-old. They have a program for kids that allows them to build their own watercraft. The owner also does great community outreach in the schools to show kids that what they're learning is applicable to real life. Check them out for fun events as well throughout the year!
