Have you seen one of those horror movies where everything starts out rosy and beautiful in the beginning but doesn’t end so well? This was our experience working with Heather Rizzo.nnThis professional was awesome on the front end. She spent a lot of time looking at houses and spending time to answer questions on the process.nnHer listing of our home was awesome. She is an incredible marketer of her brand and clients she takes on. This was displayed in us having over 20 showings in the first week and 5 offers on our desirable home.nnThis is when things took a turn for us. After some really poor guidance from Heather, the first deal fell through. A deal that we wanted to stay away from, but she used her lender to contact me to help convince me to take the offer she wanted us to take. Two more contracts later, we took a $20k hit on our home rather than taking a sure thing the first time. In hindsight, I really don’t know why she guided us the way she did. Still don’t.nnInspections. Too much to uncover here. Please do not use her referrals or listen to her inspection advice. We are living a nightmare in our dream home because of her guidance.nnNegotiations in general. Her mindset is all about getting the deal done regardless of the effects on others. This professional even had the sellers calls us during negotiations after we got cold feet!!!nnWe put a lot of trust and faith in Heather and had some poor outcomes as a result. The kicker here is when we addressed our concerns about the entire process after everything was finished, I couldn’t get her to call me. So I send an email breaking down our experience. Her response was disheartening. She was quick to point the finger at everybody involved in the process except for herself. She maintained that she was perfect in the process.nnWe chose to work with Heather after getting to know her through our church and school community. Unfortunately, not everybody you meet at your church is going to have your best interest at heart.

Heather made the whole process so seamless. We were purchasing at the start of the pandemic and looking at 20+ houses with different guidelines was a pain but she always called to tell us what to expect at each house. It took us 3 months to finally settle on “the one” and she was so patient. We were so new to Illinois that she was able to give us quality referrals for all the closing people we needed in the area. She’s top tier when it comes to professionalism and patience. My husband and I are big fans of her!
