They refused to give back my deposit by adding on more fees after months later of living elsewherE when the balance was fully paid. They don’t respect the residents. When I had first moved in, there were water damages which was never fixed. There was mold in the freezer as well as dead roaches in the cabinets And yet all they had done to my place was replace a portion of the carpet which I had found 10 centipedes crawling from under it from the LIVING ROOM to the KITCHEN. This was by far the worst apartment I’ve ever had to put up with til I got my chance to leave. If you are a student and/or have family I would not suggest renting from these people. Unsafe living environment.

Mark and David were very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to get things done. Highly recommended.

Super nice people

I am just ending my 1 year lease with David Adams Realty. When we initially signed the lease for our apartment we were told that it would be cleaned because it had been vacant for several months. When we got the keys there were dead pests and eggs in our sinks, and even or fridge. They sent someone to clean again but they did not do a good job of cleaning so we had to clean it ourselves. We were not able to move in until about 2 weeks after our lease began because of issues with sanitation. Yet we still had to pay rent for the entire month and they did not seem very accepting of our concerns in the beginning. However, I do understand with this being a college town people do all seem to move around the same time. Also our dishwasher and garbage disposal were both broken and the microwave only worked when it felt like it (not a big issue). It took several weeks for us to get a new dishwasher. However, the service that did come was very friendly and seemed to genuinely desire to meet our needs. Our last 3 months in this condo we have gone without a kitchen light that they were supposed to send someone to fix but never did. All in all, as long as you pay rent on time, don’t need much assistance and like your location, you will be fine. Once we got all of the kinks out in the beginning we loved our condo and our location. If you desire a hands-on and caring management company this company will not meet your expectations. I am just hoping considering all the trouble we went through in the beginning, they will at least give us our security deposit back.
