Kirkland Police Department

Called recently to report speeders in Kirkland. The people on the non-emergency line are rude as can be. I get it you have alot going on but that's not my problem. Do better.

I've vised in Kirkland for over 20 years and feel lucky and blessed to have such a safe, clean and modern city to visit. The Kirkland Police officers that serve the Kirkland community are outstanding: These law enforcement officers are very helpful, friendly, approachable, well trained and most of all they have superb customer service skills. Thank you to our Kirkland Police officers, their support staff for making Kirkland such safe and friendly city for our citizens. Please shake and thank our officers for their dedicated service to Kirkland.

In the repeat visits, I’ve experienced nothing but good gracious people looking to serve the public honorably. The officers are a direct reflection of the quality of leadership and carry out their difficult daily duties with dignity and respect for all people. I’m looking forward to visiting again very soon!

I just asked for help with CTEL and the gentleman on the phone directed me to their customer service, on a Sunday, when they are closed. Then when I called back and confronted him on it and asked him if he knew anything more or if anyone there did to help me get in contact with a loved one, he had an attitude and was very rude. He said, “I’m not going to sit here and tell you everything.” The impression given within 10 minutes was that he did not care, which is not the impression/reputation I would assume the Police Department of Kirkland wishes to have. He represented the Kirkland Police Department poorly and I would expect the employees to be better educated about the resources they use and better costumer service.
