Bothell City Police Department

I was walking home late this past evening after missing the correct stop on the bus; as the announcement didn't take for some reason. (I was also contemplating some things with shut eyes.) the bus driver let me off in downtown Bothell, and I'd been on either sidewalk on route 522 when hearing some disturbing events on both sides in the almost 1.5 to 2 miles I'd walked. I decided to climb up into the center onto the platform where I was able to see vehicles and safe to walk above the ground. As I approached the street, and was making a decision on where and when to cross safely, Officer (Sean, Shawn?) Peckham was driving towards town and slowed down upon me signaling behest, we discussed the issue I was having. He was kind enough to give me a ride safe to return on the normal route I take home, a short trip down the road.nnI'd like to take the opportunity here to state how helpful it is to experience this willfulness of good from Police. Not all take the job seriously enough to respect it, or respect people in general. It was profoundly late, and I was out past bedtime; not typical but has occurred a few times in life...and he didn't take advantage of or abuse the power of authority on any level. I only know one or two other CS like that.

My girlfriend Katelynn got her drivers license today and was unlucky enough to almost immediately get into a minor accident. Officer E Martin was the responding officer and went out of his way to make sure that she and I were both okay and handling it alright, which is something we both needed and very much appreciated. Thank you Bothell PD for going out of your way to hire officers who genuinely care!

Extremely polite and quick to respond to a suspicious person call that I made.

Ticketed for speeding in the first 5 minutes in town. Trying to navigate, not from the area, and having just got off the freeway from the Olympia area. We admitted we had no idea how fast the speed limit was. We saw no posted limit. 42 in a 30. Reduced to 5 over. Thanks for the warm welcome and courteous warning, not....

Harassed me and shoved me around and accused me of stealling hand lotion from a local house for no reason. I did nothing wrong or illegal. 2 hours i spent being threatened and interogated for no reason...
