This school academically is great, although if you’re districted for this school you’re putting your child at a high risk to be in a lower rank in school than what they should be at. Also, speaking from experience, I was bullied here and so were my two younger siblings. This environment seems good on the outside, but is so detrimental for the children’s mental health. They say that they have a “no bully” policy but that’s not true. Don’t let your child go here unless they’re extraordinarily smart, very very tough skin, and has no special needs. Teachers following 504’s is also not a trend at cactus ranch.
best elementary school ever, no doubt teachers are great and the counselor and principal are extremely nice. only downside is the food their, but i mean what do you expect it’s a public school. i went their kinder- 5th and wish i could honestly go back.
Love the school. My son recently started there, the staff is very friendly and supportive.
Excellent elementary school. Generally seems like staff turnover has been fairly low. Suffers from under-funding issues as are most other public schools.
Been very good so far. PPCD/Pear program people are awesome.
