Our PD is amazing. They are very quick to respond. Very professional and every officer I have encountered is always very polite and courteous. I can only imagine how difficult it is in today’s day and age to be a Police Officer. You are criticized no matter what you do. We love and proudly support our PD! Had a rough day with an ex employee yesterday, called Comal County and they rerouted me over to New Braunfels PD. The Officers who assisted me with this problematic guy yesterday did a great job. Wife left phone in Uber on a Saturday and now it’s in a locked “evidence” vault that no one has access to on sat or Sunday, its a cell phone and no one there is competent enough to release the phone back to its owner, and it had to be locked in a “evidence safe” “to protect owner” complete lack competence if you can’t handle helping someone recover something as simple as cell phone..
Having had one on one contact/experience on more than a single situation . Officers were Professionals and handled themselves and situations with upmost dignity and respect. One simple is key to Any situation or person in this World......you first Must give Respect in order to get It. Compose yourself as a Man/Woman. If you you are wrong, your wrong., own take that bid and keep it moving.nnMaybe my outlook on the Department is due to no major in counters, but don't matter. All is the same.nn~Regular dude, not affiliated with Any law Enforcement Anywhere, Anyhow.
My dog and I were in Fischer park late one evening and somehow when we left the truck in the parking lot, my back door didn’t close all the way. Well, the wind must have blown it open. Some officers saw the door open could not find me so they went to my residence on file to make sure all was good. Seems above and beyond their duty to me. I only remember one of their names and he was officer de la Rosa. Thanx for checking up on the citizens here in town guys
