If I could they would get 0 stars... Horrible law enforcement team. Searched my car and ran my driver license number for a call from another address, the neighbors. I was in my car scratching lottery tickets and the bright lights came. Harassment to the full. Got to find out more on what can be done. I feel so violated by those who should be protecting...

Police department uses excessive stop light cameras and speed traps to ensure they meet quotas. Officers will give speeding tickets without even using a speed gun so question the officers if you don't think you were speeding. They've been wrong multiple times.

I have had the most horrible time with these clowns. Not only did they give me a ticket for being an American, they have the audacity to NEVER answer their phone. These corrupt jokers also refused my payment via check. I thought I lived in America where checks are acceptable forms of payment. Hays County and City of Austin take checks like they were made out of gold. I guess Elgin is just about the most un-American place I have ever set foot in.
