Knoxville Chamber

I am sure that they have done great things for the community over the years. But all I can talk about is my own experience: I joined when I moved to Knoxville. The entry package is around $400/year. It comes with a lot of perks, more or less useful following what you do as a business. Anyways, long story short: at the end of my first year, I told them that I didn't want to renew because I was dissatisfied (I felt that they had taken my money and not brough much to me nor reached out), the lady convinces me to stay for an other year for free (since technically they say that they give you your money back if you are not happy after a year, but really if you ask for your money back they are very difficult about it). I say ok. It was right before 2020's mess hit. I never heard from them once. They never reached out to know how my small business was doing in these times of crisis. They only reached out to tell me that it was time to pay to renew my membership. I told them no and why I wouldn't. Their answer was that they have too many members to call everyone. My answer is that if you can take people's money, then you can take 10 minutes per year to make a phone call to check on them.

18 of us drove into Knoxville while on vacation in Duff, TN to experience Knoxville. 1st stop was the Welcome Center. Public brestroom was closed. Hmmm. Told to use the facilities at a department sore a bock away. No problem. Friendly store clerk helped. Parked in public parking facility, walked to little park with great sculpture.

We just recently joined the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce and we highly recommend joining the organization. It is a great channel to network and build relationships. The events they put on are wonderful as well!

from the time you sign up, they try and upsell you to next tier, all in all, they really dont do much for you when compared to other Chambers in the area. But they LOVE your wallet :) as long as the money flows

One of the best Chambers in the country. They're a huge resource to any business in the Knoxville Metro area.
